Dorothy Bergman Kacho

Dorothy Bergman Kacho, age 92 of West Mifflin, formerly of McKeesport, died November 6, 2013. She was born in Etna on March 29, 1921 and is the daughter of the late John and Clara Muth Bergman and the wife of the late Alex Kacho.

She was employed by Bell Atlantic as a directory assistance operator for many years and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #361, Christian Servitors Class of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and the Lebanon Women's Club.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Alan Kacho of Connellsville, Jay (Carol Jean) Kacho of Massanutten, VA, Melanie (John) Clifford of Potomac Falls, VA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and many cherished nieces and nephews; brother, John Bergman, Jr. of West Mifflin. She is preceded in death by infant son, Jerry and sister, Wilma Bergman.

Friends will be received at the Hunter Edmundson Striffler Funeral Home of McKeesport, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Friday 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum, West Mifflin.
