Donald E. Peck

Donald E. Peck, 93, of McKeesport, died Sept. 3, 2012. He was born in Wilmerding and is the son of the late Joseph and Winnifred Bryson Peck and the husband of the late Dorothy Harvey Peck. He is retired as an engineer from Union Railroad, was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, a member of the Fuddy Duddy Club and was a Union Steward of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

He is survived by children, Donald (Connie) Peck of McDonald, Ohio, Norma (Dennis) Saputo of Port Vue, and Marsha Shroyer of Cumberland, MD, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Gladys Grubs of Venice, Florida. He was preceded in death by siblings, Robert and Harold Peck and Florence Hite.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pgh.-McKeesport Blvd, Dravosburg, 15034 (412 678 6192) on Wed. from 3:00 until 5:00 pm and 7:00 until 9:00 pm. Services will be held Thursday at Noon at Port Vue United Methodist Church, 1565 Washington Blvd., Port Vue, 15133 with Rev. Josephine Whitely-Fields officiating.
