Denis Akerman, age 63, of Glassport, died Friday, July 4, 2014. He was born in McKeesport on December 24, 1950 and is the son of the late Arnold and Lillian Akerman. He was employed at U.S.Steel and was a veteran who served in U.S. Army. Burial took place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies and arrangements were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services (412 678 6177).
