Deborah K. Yoannone, 56, of Versailles, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Baltimore, Md., to Dawn (Jim) Hanson Arlette Elliott and the late John Scott. Deborah was a veteran of the Navy in which she served 18 years. She then went on to receive her bachelor's degree in public administration from Point Park University in 2000. She was an avid reader and liked to crochet. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Yoannone, of Versailles; daughters, Jennifer Kellogg, of Versailles, Katharine (Steve) Staniech, of White Oak, and Carin Kellogg, of Versailles; grandson, Christian Michael Kellogg Johnson, of Versailles; and sisters, Diane Hafeez and Darlene Rains, both of Baltimore, Md. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Scott. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Service with full military honors will be held at noon Thursday, July 23, 2015, in the funeral home chapel.
