Dawn J. Taylor

Dawn J. Taylor, 78, of The Villages, Fla., formerly of McKeesport, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born Dec. 28, 1936, in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Evelyn (Carlson) Campbell. She is survived by her husband, James R. Taylor, of The Villages Fla.; daughters, Cheryl Lynn Taylor, of Falling Waters, W. Va., and Wendy Vogt, of Clio, Mich.; son, Jeffery J. Taylor, of The Villages, Fla.; grandchildren, James Yatsko, of Falling Waters, W. Va., Julie (Michael) Dale, of Falling Waters, W. Va., David J. "D.J" (Amanda) Vogt, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Tyler Vogt, of Clio, Mich.; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Josie Dale, of Falling Water, W.Va.; and sister, Gail (James) Vickers, of Boardman, Ohio. Dawn was preceded in death by grandchildren, Joseph Yatsko and Dawn Liv Taylor. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday July 2, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, (412-678-6177). Services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 12:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in McKeesport Versailles Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Sumter County Hospice.
