David H. Wolfe

David H. Wolfe Sr., 69, of West Mifflin, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2015. He was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Edward and Letha Anderson Wolfe. He is a veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the American Legion Post 380 in Dravosburg and the United Auto Workers Union. He liked antique cars and was the proud owner of a 1930 Model A Ford. He enjoyed working with wood and actually rebuilt the entire inside of his house. He was a "people person" who loved to socialize and spend time with many of his friends, neighbors and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" Crook Wolfe, of West Mifflin; his sons, David Wolfe Jr., of Akron, Ohio, Daniel (Debbie) Wolfe, of Navarre, Fla., and Nicholas (Jodi) Garuccio, of Irwin; grandchildren, David III, Darci Renee, Jessica and Kari; great-grandchildren, Trenton and Paisley; brothers, Paul (Mary Kaye) Wolfe, of St. Louis, Mo., Edward (Mary Lou) Wolfe, of Akron, Ohio; and sister, Gladys Reynolds, of South Charleston, W.Va.; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at STRIFFLERS OF DRAVOSBURG/WEST MIFFLIN, 740 Pittsburgh McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192). Service will be held Thursday at 11:30AM in the funeral home chapel.
