David Samuel Coulter, Sr.

David Samuel Coulter, Sr., age 75, of McKeesport, PA, died on Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born in White Oak, PA, on April 23, 1951, and was the son of the late Harry and Virginia Kelley Coulter. He was employed by the former Motor Car Parts before retiring after twenty-years from Giant Eagle in West Mifflin, PA.

David is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Rose Moore Coulter; daughters, Susan (Christian, Sr.) Meyer of Elizabeth, PA; and Melissa Coulter of McKeesport, PA; son, David Samuel Coulter, Jr. of McKeesport, PA; grandchildren, Robert Moore; Amanda Seman; William Seman; Matt Seman; David Coulter, III; Dustin Coulter; Candice Coulter; Gary Coulter; Devin Hunt; Haley Meyer; and Christian Meyer, Jr.; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Coulter of NC.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Seman; brothers, Harry Coulter; Daniel Coulter; Ernest Coulter; James Coulter; Jerry Coulter; Ronald Coulter; and Paul Coulter; and sisters, Evelyn Knight; and Virginia Coulter.

Family and friends are invited to honor David’s memory on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until a blessing service at 12:30 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, and Adam Striffler Galaski, funeral directors, 412 678 6177). The gathering will continue after the services until 1:30 p.m. when a procession will leave for a burial.
