Charles A. Daugherty

Charles A. Daugherty age 73, of Harrisville formally of McKeesport died April 9, 2012. He was born in Larimer on Sept. 28, 1938 and is the son of the late Charles H. and Evelyn H. Magee Daugherty. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Bowser.

He retired from Reliance Steel and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during peace time.

Surviving are his wife; Bonita Olsen Daugherty, children; Thomas Daugherty of Harrisburg, Charles Daugherty of Irwin, Shawn Daugherty of Connellsville, Shelly Palm of Greensburg, and Wendy Duppstadt of Ruffsdale, siblings; Eugene Daugherty of Derry, Richard Daugherty of McKeesport, Patrick Daugherty of Ohio, Kenneth Daugherty of Levinworth, KS, Shirley Scott of Flint, MI, Hazel Daugherty of Glassport, Betty Jane Daugherty of Glassport, Judy DeCarlo of Pittsburgh, Katherine Daugherty of Lancaster, and Janet Frias of Glassport and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Friday from 10am until noon when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow.
