Catherine Kovalsky, age 92, of Jeanette died February 24, 2014. She was born in Donora on December 1, 1921 and is the daughter of the late John and Katherine Talpas Kovalsky.
She is survived by her sisters; Helen Savage of Zelienople and Margaret Kovacs of Phoenix, Arizona, nieces; Arlene (Thomas) Klasterka of Cranberry Twp., Barbara (Gene) Kusner of N. Huntingdon and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by siblings, Mary, Betty and Peter.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Donora.
