Carol "Bridges" L. Magnus

Carol L. (Bridges) Magnus, age 53, of N. Huntingdon, died peacefully in her home, Monday, Sept. 2, 2013. She was the beloved wife of David Magnus; caring daughter of the late Joseph and Audrey (Waldron) Bridges; loving mother of Karen (Bridges) and husband David Drozd of Punxsutawney, Kiera Magnus and fiancé Ed Torockio of Irwin and David James Mangus and fiancé Kayla Marra of Bellview, cherished grandchildren, Midori Bridges and Ava Drozd, sister of Joseph Bridges and wife Pam of Durham, Conneticut, James Bridges and wife Cathy of N. Huntingdon, John Bridges and Cathy Mugnano of Jeannette and Lois McGivern and Jim Cella of Lower Burrell. Carol worked for GAI Consultants for eight years and was a 1978 graduate of Norwin High School. She will be remembered as a woman who was devoted to helping others.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Wed. from 6-8 pm, Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday. Burial will follow.
