Carol Ann Carloss shared a lifetime of love with her family, friends and animals. The beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 66, of McKeesport passed away early Saturday morning December 4, 2010 while holding the hand of her oldest daughter. She was born March 2, 1944 to the late Josephine (Bosco) Anthony and Tony George Anthony.
Carol retired from Duquesne University in 2006. She was member of the Duquesne University Retirees Group. She previously worked at McKeesport Hospital and The GC Murphy Home Office.
Carol was the beloved wife of 47 years to James Carloss; the loving mother of Tracy Carloss-Begley (Chris) and Tiffany A. Carloss. She was the cherished GaGa of Camille Carolyn. She is survived by siblings Judith Carr (Jack), Thomas Anthony (Jean), Walter Anthony (Susan), nephews and many friends.
Carol loved spending time with her children, adored her one and only granddaughter and loved animals. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she relied on her spirituality to help her through her long illness. Her life was her family, now their lives will never be the same.
Friends will be received Striffler's of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services , Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8PM. Mass will be Thursday 10:00AM at St. Patrick's Church.
