Carl A. Theys, age 79, of Versailles Boro, formerly of Wilkinsburg, died March 23, 2012. He was born in Homewood on April 7, 1932 and is the son of the late Arthur and Margaret Mroczka Theys.
He was delivery man for Dan Dee Potato Chips and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife; Rose Melito Theys, sons; Arthur (Margie) Theys of Allison Park and David (Dana)Theys of Wilkins Twp. grandchildren; Vincent, Matthew and Rachel, and sister; Nancy Brunner of Penn Hills. He was preceded in death by brothers John and Raymond.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday from 6-8 and Tues. 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. at 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Church. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum of West Mifflin.
Remembrance may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 2345 Murray Ave. Pittsburgh 15217.
