Bob Thomas, of White Oak, age 64, died April 17, 2011. He was born in Connellsville on July 25, 1946. He was previously employed by the Operating Engineers, Local 66. He is the son of Samuel and Pauline "Lou" Dowden Thomas of Star Junction and husband of Linda McManus Thomas, father of Robert William (Stacey) Thomas of E. McKeesport, Jimmy Thomas of Vanderbilt, Crystal (Jared) Korey and Marcie Thomas of W. Mifflin and Robin Statsko of Brownsville, grandfather of Jayden Thomas, Isabella Korey, Jackie and Jill Gilbreathe, and brother of Samuel (Ruth) Thomas of Vanderbilt and Gary Thomas of Tincvard, Alabama. Also survived by beloved dog, Oreo.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Wed. from 4:00 until 8:00pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at Noon. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
