Betty L. (McNulty) Davis, age 92, of White Oak, died February 22, 2015 at the Palms at O'Neil. She was born in McKeesport on March 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles Herbert and Edythe L. (Beech) McNulty.
Betty was a 1939 graduate of McKeesport High School and worked as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone before becoming her favorite professions . . . homemaker, mom and grandmother. She was a life- long member of the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ and was a Sunday school teacher for the Loyal Women's Class for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Davis; brother, Dalmain "Bud" McNulty and sisters, Gertrude Estelle Morris and Wanieta Ruth Keen.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Edythe L. Thomas and her husband, Brian Thomas of Long Branch and Somerset, Robert C. Davis and wife, Linda (Macey) of West Newton and Charles D. Davis and Jodi of White Oak; grandchildren, Kristen M. (Ryan James) Davis of White Oak, Kimberle Davis of White Oak and James M. Davis of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; good friend and neighbor, Margaret "Peggy" Randall.
Friends will be received at Strifflers' of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Burial will follow.
