Bernardine D. Ratesic, 95, of McKeesport, died Nov. 12, 2012. Born in N. Braddock on August 2, 1917 she is the daughter of the late Frank M. and Catherine Brown Donnelly and the wife of the late John F. Ratesic.
She is survived by her children; John F. (Dorothy) Ratesic of White Oak, Patrick (Mickey) Ratesic of N.Huntingdon, Anne (Ed) Bell of Coulters and Kay (Gerry) Feagles of Canton, Ohio, grandchildren; Anna (Scott) Inglese, Erin (Tim) Dugan, P.J. (Mandy) Ratesic, Dr. Mara (David) Koetke, Marko (Julie) Ratesic, Lauren (Chris) Kilburg, Kristen (Zach) Griffin, Lindsey Bell, Sarah Feagles and Jessica Bernardine Feagles, and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Ladies of Charity, Women's Guild, Rosary Society, Christian Mothers and Social Ministry of the former St. Peter's Church. She obtained a Silver Life Master status in the American Contract Bridge League and a member of the former Mon Yough Bridge Club, a longtime volunteer for the McKeesport Meals on Wheels and the former President of the McKeesport Tigers Football Mothers Club.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow.
Remembrances may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Dr., Greensburg, 15601.
