Bernard H. Kline

Bernard H. Kline, 87, of White Oak, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his home. He was born April 23, 1923, in McKeesport and is the son of the late George N. and Reita Jackson Kline. He was the proprietor of Abel Home Center in N. Versailles for approximately 40 years. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel and the Jewish War Veterans.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Ruth Greenfield Kline, children, Ellie (Bruce) Lederman of Pacific Palisades, CA, George (Mary Jo) Kline of White Oak, Meryl (Fred) Trachtman of Olney, MD also grandchildren Eric, Jeffrey, and Joshua Lederman, Reita, Lena, and Max Kline abd Rachel and Molly Trachtman. Also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Sally Litman.

Friends will be received Tuesday Feb. 15th, from 12:30PM until time of service at 1:30PM with Rabbi Paul Tuchman at Striffler's of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177). Burial to follow at Agudath Achim Cemetery in Forest Hills.
