Bernard F. Hurley

Bernard F. Hurley, Sr., age 78, of White Oak died February 24, 2014. He was born in Pittsburgh on February 15, 1936 and is the son of the late Robert and Mary Bercik Hurley, Sr. He was employed at the former Crucible Steel then retired from Mt. Lebanon School District. He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid bicyclist.

He is the father of the late Bernard F. Hurley, Jr. and is survived by daughters; Cindy (Ray) Kosuda of Middlesex, North Carolina, Maryann (Nelson) Hurley-Renfrow of Kenly, North Carolina, Bernice Hurley of McKeesport, grandchildren; Jessica, Mooneh, Valerie, Cecelia, Jacob, Mitchell, Cynthia, Elisha and Diane, great-grandchildren; Ryder, Lillian, Olivia and Brianna, siblings; Dennis (Ann) Hurley of Hatboro, PA and Colleen (Richard) Fryza of Jackson, Georgia. He is preceded in death by brother; Robert Hurley, Jr.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
