Barbara Ann Ponsonby

Barbara Ann Ponsonby, age 75, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on August 10 to be with Jesus. Born October 6, 1934 she is the wife of Richard P. Ponsonby and daughter of the late Walter and Fay Casserly Olsavsky. She was a homemaker and Co-Owner/Business Manager of Richards Family Hair Center, 3208 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA. She was a member of St. Angela Merici Church.

She is survived by her children Kim Ann Ponsonby of Mt. Washington, Christy Lynn (Timothy) Baker of Jefferson Hills, Richard Mark Ponsonby of McKeesport. Grandchildren Jacob, Jessica, Jocelyn, Madison, and Haley. Sisters Nancy (The late Bernard) Arvin of Orlando, FL, Marlene Dellapenna Claar of White Oak, Maryetta "Ty" Betters Roman of McKeesport, Della "Chi" (Richard) Test of Port Vue. Also many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc. (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and Thursday 2-8 PM. A mass will be on Friday at 9:00 AM at St. Angela Merici Church. Burial to follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
