Anthony A. "Tony" DiCecco, 93, of North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. He was born Nov. 7, 1922, in McKeesport, a son of the late Giovanni and Theresa D'Eletto DiCecco. He was the husband of the late Yolanda Finamore Pillera DiCecco. Tony worked as a boilermaker at U.S. Steel, National Tube and was a member of the U.S. Steelworkers of America. Mr. DiCecco served as the past president of ISDA Local Lodge 57, holding various offices, and was a delegate at several conventions. He also was a member of the 11th Ward Club. He served as the past president of the Christy Park Seniors and was an AARP member. He participated proudly as an usher at St. Patrick Parish. He is survived by his daughter, Charlene (Ken Greene) DiCecco Greene, of North Huntingdon; son, Ray M. DiCecco, of Easton; brother, Peter DiCecco, of Christy Park; nieces, Diane Pizzuto, Rose Marie McLaughlin and Mary Jane Sadowsky; and nephews, John and Pete DiCecco. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mario DiCecco; and niece, Carol Stipkovits. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at St. Patrick Church with Father Vincent Velas officiating. Entombment to follow.
