Andrew M. "Butch" Chemsak, age 69, of Port Vue, died Nov. 17, 2014. He was born in Phillipsburg, PA on May 7, 1945 and is the son of the late Andrew and Mary Orichosky Chemsak. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of Local Union #3, Iron Workers, and a member of the Port Vue American Legion. He was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife, Constance Mazzei Chemsak, children; April (Chuck) Maurer of Maiden, N. Carolina, Cameron Chemsak of Liberty Boro and James Chemsak of Kersey, PA, grandchildren; Raven, Lakota, Cheyenne, Shawnie, Lea and Charlene, great grandsons; Karson and Kaleb and brother; John (Barbara) Chemsak of Beaufort, S. Carolina. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Angelica Maurer and brother, James Chemsak.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). Visitation will be held on Wed. 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Friday at St. Patrick Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Vincent Velas officiating. Burial will follow.
