Ronald J. "Lukie" Lucas, Sr.

Ronald J. “Lukie” Lucas, Sr., age 76, of North Huntingdon, died April 17, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on August 3, 1942 to the late John P. and Rose Palygi Lucas. Ronald was employed by the borough of West Mifflin for almost 36 1/2 years then worked for Norwin School District as a security guard during his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Lucas; son, Ronald (Jennifer) Lucas, Jr. of Glassport; granddaughter, Karlye Lucas; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Dryer and Nathaniel James Boykin; sisters-in-law, Janice (William) Vasy of N. Huntingdon, Kathy (the late Michael) Vrabel of Plum Borough; and many nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Lucas. Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4 pm until 8 pm, where service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 9:30 am with Pastor Cindy Lindow officiating.  Burial will follow at Lebanon Church Cemetery.
