Emma B. Sabo

Emma B. Sabo, age 93 of Liberty Borough, died Saturday, February 24, 2018.  She was born September 10, 1924 in Cecil, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Roadman Boyd and the wife of the late George Sabo, Sr.  She was a member of St. Mark Parish in Liberty Borough and their Christian mothers.  She was captain of the bowling team at the former Ryan’s Duck Pin Lanes in Liberty Borough. Emma enjoyed baking, cooking and crafting. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Allen) Goldmeier of New York; sons, George (Barbara) Sabo, Jr., and Jim (the late Gail) Sabo of Liberty Boro; grandchildren, Lori (Jesse Young) Goldmeier, Justin (Laura) Sabo, Melissa (Jeffrey) Morgan, and Josh (Nicole) Sabo; great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jovie Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Sabo, 6 sisters and 1 brother. Graveside service will be held Monday, February 26th at 2 pm at Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
