Dolores Mary Kontros, age 89, of Port Vue, died November 6, 2020. She was born in McKeesport on June 15, 1931 and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mayher Bury and the wife of the late John F. Kontros. She was employed as a cashier for Sears & Roebuck and also many other financial and mortgage institutions in the area.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise M. (William) Smith of North Huntingdon; son, John G. (Maria) Kontros of Cranberry Twp.; grandchildren, Kristie and Gregory Smith and Brittany (Jason) Madden; great-granddaughter, Brooke Madden; brother, Joseph (Beverly) Bury of Monroeville, and nieces and nephews.
A family gathering took place at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday November 9, 2020. Burial followed.
