Charlene A. Steele, age 70 of McKeesport, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 27, 2020. She was born on January 20, 1950 to the late Charles E. and Ann Stinson McLaughlin. An inspiring woman, Charlene enjoyed raising her family and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible. She was a long-time member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, White Oak American Legion Post #701, and the McKeesport Amvets Post #8.
She is survived by her beloved husband Harry S. Steele; loving children, Mark (Katherine Bach) Steele, Ryan (Christie Seigh) Steele, Shawna (Scott) Eisenberg, and Kristen (Josh Mann) Steele of McKeesport; adoring grandchildren, Kasi, Josh, Morgan, Brenden, Blake, Caleb, Ireland, Eryn, Emily, Markie, Ashlynn, and Sidney, sibling’s Francis (Sandy) McLaughlin of Elizabeth Township, Charles (Jane) McLaughlin of Lighthouse Point, Florida, and Patrick (Donna) McLaughlin of North Huntingdon, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Kevin McLaughlin.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow.
